My Yin story
Hello, my name is Dominik Trznadel
my adventure with yoga began in 2008, when I studied cultural anthropology at the University of East London. While living in London, I became fascinated by the topic of mindfulness and the benefits it brings to people from different religious and cultural backgrounds.
Over the years, my main areas of interest have become spirituality, psychology, philosophy, healthand education. As a minimalist, I have found that yin yoga is the perfect tool to connect with my inner self while also helping me connect with others - this is how my yin journey began.
To delve deeper into my study of Eastern philosophy, I moved from the UK to South China in 2012 so I could learn as much as I could about the benefits of Chinese medicine and the power of chi energy. It was in China, where I spent more than seven years, that I first took part in teacher trainingat Jo Phee in Shanghai. During this time, I completely immersed myself in the study of TCM, which is the basis of my yin yoga practice. Having experience in social anthropology, meditation, and traveling to over 30 countries, I have gained experience and delved into my personal practice, which I share by training others.
In 2019, I moved with my wife to the UK, where I started a new adventure that turned my life upside down as much as Yin yoga - fatherhood.
